One of the things I have been praying to see for awhile finally happened! I have heard reports of people seeing miraculous weight loss on TV and in a couple of videos, but I wanted to see it for myself. Last week Donna and I were ministering to a woman who had been trying to lose weight since 1993 and had been unable to lose more than five pounds and would always gain it back.
We had talked about miraculous weight loss that night when she said she really needed to lose some weight for health reasons. I shared with her that I had really wanted to see God help someone lose weight and why not her and why not tonight.
So Tuesday, she goes to the doctor for follow up on some other health issues and they weighed her. She had lost ten pounds in a week! Now this may not sound like a lot, but it was huge to me and to the woman. She had tried for years to lose weight with diet after diet and different exercise routines and she worked very hard to stay healthy but nothing seemed to work. She was ecstatic when the doctor told her she had lost weight! I know it built her faith and mine!
